After much mucking around, debate and flannel we finally bit the bullet and had our website rewritten and relaunched. Gone are the long winded tables which used to set out the site, gone are the excess of html and gone are the slightly erratic images – we used to call it heritage coding – but actually it was cheapskate do it yourself coding. It worked but we should really stick to what we’re good at – surveying buildings, acting as party wall surveyors and doing DDA access audits – rather than pretending to be web designers. Whisper it but we think there were bits of code left behind from our very first site done on MS Publisher in 1997 or 98….
This time we engaged proper web designers with proper software and proper skills so our slick, neatly coded Collier Stevens Chartered Surveyors website should now be more reliable, quicker and look nicer! If you like it have a word with Site Visibility down in Brighton, first class SEO and digital marketing as well as neat web design.
